Aaahh, yes....here it is: Just another ever-so-typical and boring photo of camping in the High Sierras of California. Ho-Huumm.

Ever been to the town of Baker?!
Was using 'photo time' tonight to go through one of my Mojave Desert file folders! Just thought I'd choose one and share it!

(Huuummm!? Across the street from this, is The Bun Boy Resturant!!!)

DakotaCowboy....this one's for you!

I took this one later on the same day I talked with you! I was still in Ontario.
This morning I was working on the gallery for my 'Ontario & Norco with AndreaKaus' images.
I had just edited past this image, when I checked on the Dailies and found your Giraffe from Palm Springs!!

  NEWSFLASH!!! Spiderman got married tonight!
LadyKatesPhotography > July 6

It's still 4th of July weekend!!

My husband and I enjoyed a very peaceful and quiet 4th by staying home! I was watching the dusk light as it played across the flags which our neighbors had put on their front fence. (Thanks, chuck and Lisa!)
This is Coconut, one of their three Great Pyranees!! I was coaxing her into standing right by the bunting. She is so gorgeous--look at those eyes!! She's also a real sweetie!

I am so grateful that we're able to celebrate the Independence of our great country! Hopefully our independence causes all Americans some happiness!

Today is my sister's birthday!!
I found these beauties in her yard a while ago!
More gorgeous evidence of her incredible 'green thumb'!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GAYSIE MAE!!

I've included this image in: My Sister's Garden.

(The purple is Lobelia; flowers are @ 1/2". The red is Begonia(?); flowers are @ 1 1/2".)

A 'fun in the West' place to go,
AndreaKaus took me to Norco!!

Accessorized, and lookin' fine,
She showed me a really fun time!

Our cameras each carried a big memory stick
We realized quite soon, our time was too quick!

Meeting again soon, are plans that we've made
A summer visit to my turf; we'll play in the shade!

Thanks Andrea, 'twas really fun,
A wonderful new friend, I feel I have won!
LadyKatesPhotography > May you experience 2009 with blessings of health, love, happiness, peace, joy, prosperity, creativity, and mechanically sound camera/photographic equipment!
