LadyKatesPhotography > January 9 I'm mostly recuperated from the wedding, but in order to catch up a bit, I haven't allowed myself any type of 'photo time' for several days; I haven't taken any new shots and I've missed my interactions here in this DP community! In January of '07, a girlfriend called me one night telling me of this frozen fountain she had just seen. I left very early the next day to get some shots in the morning light. Very seldom does it get cold enough around here to cause something like this! Shortly after I took this, I had it enlarged and was looking at it while still in the store. A woman came over saying, "Is that a wedding cake?"
LadyKatesPhotography > November 1 The day after I posted the beautifully fall-colored Poison Oak, I set out in the later afternoon in search of more fall colors here in northern San Luis Obispo County, Central Coast California. I drove around the Atascadero area, finding some beautiful specimens, hidden in areas which I had not driven through lately! As a matter-of-fact, the choice for this DP was difficult; I had much to choose from! I've included some of those images in my new Autumn gallery! I began my search that afternoon by stopping by one of our local nursuries in order to photograph one of their displays which I had seen several days earlier. That was my DP for Oct. 28. I'm mentioning this for those of you that were wanting to give me the credit for the beautiful display. Alas, the wonderfully creative minds and hands of those working in the nursery of Miner's Harware deserve a round of applause! Their nursery is ALWAYS beautiful, with very creative displays!
